Do you see the messages indicated in symptom #1 on reload(location all) of the ASR9000 series router or after OIR of a linecard ? If YES, then the fix of CSCux24553 can help by refreshing the power sequencers. If Symptom #1 is seen on a card already UP or XR-RUN state, then CSCux24553 cannot fix the issue but provides additional debug ability. Below command reads the power sequencer faultlog for the above supported PIDs run pwrseq faultread 0 0
There are no workarounds.
The "Power Sequencer Failure" error may be an indication of a HW or SW failure. This fix applies only to Power sequencer failures observed during boot-up. Line cards that fail to boot due to a SW issue will be restored with this fix and will boot successfully. This fix does not address any power sequencer failure observed during runtime.
