BugZero Inc. (“BugZero Inc., “us” or “we”) provides a solution that enables our clients (“Users/User”) to understand the frequency of occurrence, risk and potential impact to business operations associated with vendor operational bugs present in their running IT infrastructure. BugZero recognizes that privacy is an important issue, so we design and operate our services with the protection of your privacy in mind. This privacy policy (“Policy”) explains how information is collected, used, and disclosed pursuant to offering our products and services (the “BugZero Solution” or the “Solution”).
BugZero offers a Solution which comprises, a GUI, an application programming interface (API), scripts, database and services for use that, collectively, downloads detailed information about published vendor operational bugs for a set of vendors. BugZero correlates this information with a customer owned Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to understand the applicability of these bugs to their running IT infrastructure and based upon the severity of a bug open a problem ticket in a technical support ticketing solution as well any other related services, data, analytics and/or technology as needed (collectively, the “Solution”). Our clients use the Solution as part of their IT tool set to assist them in determining which published vendor software bugs may be present in their infrastructure, assessing their criticality and assisting them establishing the risks and effects of such vendor operational bugs and to assign tickets
When a company implements BugZero, certain information is collected is based on the customer’s IT infrastructure and the various vendor solutions present in the environment. The information collected pertains to a user who sets up an account as an authorized employee of a customer that has paid for the right to use BugZero. Essential to BugZero’s functionality is the ability to access and download published vendor bug information from vendor technical support and maintenance websites. This information provided by the user is used to login to each vendor’s technical support site and collect published vendor operational bug information in a database. In countries covered by the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation, BugZero does not collect a User’s IP address, any personally identifying contents contained inside a web page such as the name of a natural person, email address or username for any purpose other than to validate they are authorized to use the application. Clients may also pass custom data points to BugZero pursuant to providing the Services, such as a vendor technical services account login and passwords. The type of custom information shared via our Service is ultimately determined by our clients with the exception of any client identifiers assigned by us. We do not permit our clients to share Sensitive Information with us.
BugZero uses the information collected to determine if your company is licensed to use the solution and that an individual is an authorized user. BugZero may also use the information collected to enable a SaaS service, the client own CMDB or an application that is hosting the BugZero application to validate your identity or to integrate the BugZero application with another third party application via the BugZero published API. We may share non-personally identifiable information with select business partners, such as the one of the SaaS applications that BugZero is integrated with, who may use the information for a variety of purposes, including to improve your experience within their application. We may also share any information we store or collect in response to a legal process or when necessary to protect our Services or our client’s services and offerings. In the event that the ownership of BugZero or an affiliate or their assets changes as a result of a merger, acquisition, sale of assets or in the unlikely event of a bankruptcy, your information may be transferred to another company. If we believe a transfer results in a material change in the use of the information we’ve collected or received about you, we will provide notice and choices consistent with applicable law. For the avoidance of doubt, we do not use or sell your data for the purposes of interest-based advertising.
BugZero removes data within five years after our last encounter with you. After data is removed, BugZero reserves the right to store this data for up to five years.
All information we have is stored on servers located in the United States. In the process of providing our Services, we may transfer information across borders from your country or jurisdiction into the United States. With the exception of data transfers from the EU and Switzerland, by providing BugZero with your information, you hereby consent to the transfer of information to the U.S.
