Symptom

In 64bit IOS-XR running on ASR9K fpd upgrade of Power modules takes longer time due to multiple failure attempts caused by CRC error, and occasionally it bails out. The issue is not consistent. But pretty much seen on RP2 and RSP4.

Conditions

FPD upgrade of power modueles on 64bit IOS-XR running on ASR9K. No issues seen with 32bit IOS-XR

Workaround

Reissue upgrade if it fails, mostly it goes through with repeated retries.
