Symptom

When creating a LOM user, with LOM enabled or disabled on the FMC, the creation of the user will fail with message: "Failed to set user password for lights-out management" There is no other apparent reason on why the user is failing

Conditions

Physical FMC version 6.4.0.X

Workaround

Create a strong password for that user i.e. S0urc3f1r3 After this, the FMC will allow creating the LOM user
