Symptom
CDP on interfaces is not enabled when CDP is enabled globally on ASR Routers in controller mode.
As cdp is not enabled on interfaces, ASR router cannot be used as secondary seed routers in LAN Automation for SDA-SDWAN solution.
Conditions
CDP on interfaces is not enabled when CDP is enabled globally on ASR Routers in controller mode.
Workaround
CDP can be enabled on ASR like below in controller mode
1. Enable cdp globally using vmanage device template->global template
2. Enable cdp on interfaces using vManage cli-add-on template
But the 2nd step is not allowed in SDA/SDWAN solution as the service interfaces are managed by DNAC.
Further Problem Description
As cdp is not enabled on interfaces with a global config, ASR router cannot be used as secondary seed routers in LAN Automation for SDA-SDWAN solution
