Symptom
When all the RADIUS servers are marked as DEAD for IOSD process, we receive the following syslog which indicates all RADIUS Servers are DEAD.
*Mar 6 03:43:47.496: %RADIUS-3-ALLDEADSERVER: Group ISE-RADIUS: No active radius servers found. Id 29.
However, whenever the all RADIUS server's are marked as dead by SMD process we do not any syslog that indicates all servers are down. We only receive the following syslog,
*Mar 6 03:26:08.701: %DOT1X-5-FAIL: Switch 1 R0/0: sessmgrd: Authentication failed for client (xxxx.yyyy.zzzz) with reason (AAA Server Down) on Interface Gi1/0/31 AuditSessionID C901640A000006A805922A4C
While creating an EPM script that will replace the access list in the interface when all RADIUS server are not reachable, with older version we were able to achieve the same with "%RADIUS-3-ALLDEADSERVER", however in newer version we cannot achieve this
Conditions
Running 16.X version with dot1x enabled
Workaround
Use IBNS 2.0. Instead of using EPM scripts, use different source template when All AAA server Down event is triggered
