Symptom
Reflected BGP L2VPN EVPN prefixes are incorrectly processed causing RD and origin_id mismatch.
Senders sends out BGP update containing multiple RD under one origin_id.
This cause BGP best path algorithm results to choose wrong or suboptimal path due to router-id preference.
Conditions
- BGP EVPN VxLAN fabric with route-reflector configured.
- At least two spines are sending BGP EVPN routes to each other.
- vPC VTEP originating mac/ip routes to the fabric.
