Symptom
A Cisco Nexus9000 C9364C-GX Chassis may experience a reload following a Golden EPLD upgrade. If the EPLD has already been upgraded and is not necessary, performing the unnecessary golden upgrade results in the device timing out and reloading with a Fatal Module Error.

Workaround
There is no workaround known at this time.
Further Problem Description
If the Golden EPLD upgrade is not supported or is not required, the software should print a CLI message, "Golden upgrade not supported" or "Golden upgrade not required". The device should not crash.
