Symptom
-IOS-XE router running 17.9.3a
-Unexpected reloads
-Router in controller mode (SDWAN)
Conditions
It is because router does NOT have enough memory to run IPSec.
IPSec will force crash when router can’t create SA due to run out of memory
Crash router is to protect network security.
This patch does NOT fix any crash due to out of memory.
It pre-alloc more memory for IPSec in controller mode, so that it will have less chance failed to get memory.
Workaround
No workaround found.
User needs to make sure router has enough memory to run IPSec.
