Symptoms
Some users may report that the touchpad on the Vostro 3558 behaves erratically. The mouse cursor may seem to be jumping or may behave differently than expected when being used.
Resolution
The issue has been identified and corrected with the download of the touchpad drivers Version 19.0.9.6, A00 (or later) Download Instructions: 1. Click the Drivers & Downloads Page and select your product.2. Let Dell automatically find driver updates for you. Click the Check for Updates.3. Download Dell SupportAssist to Detect Drivers.
Note: The touchpad driver of the Inspiron 7557 is compatible with the Vostro 3558.
