The earliest recollection of this bug is traced back to PAN-OS 10.1.0 - December 27, 2024. This bug is fixed in PAN-OS versions 10.1.6. Fixed an issue where, when upgrading a multi-dataplane firewall from a PAN-OS 10.0 to a PAN-OS 10.1 release, the commit failed if the DHCP Broadcast Session option was enabled in the configuration. When upgrading a multi-dataplane firewall from PAN-OS 10.0 to 10.1, if the configuration includes the DHCP Broadcast Session option enabled, the commit fails. Auto-commit is not affected. Workaround: Load the configuration from running config (load config from running-config.xml) and perform a commit.
