The Veeam Backup for Red Hat Virtualization 3a Plug-In may be used as part of a new deployment or to upgrade an existing Veeam Backup for Red Hat Virtualization Plug-In running versions 2.x - 3.x. After installing the Veeam Backup for Red Hat Virtualization 3a Plug-In, the deployed/upgraded RHV Backup Proxy appliance's build number will be 3.0.1.855. Environment Requirements: Veeam Backup & Replication 12 (build 12.0.0.1420) or newer. Red Hat Virtualization 4.4 SP1 or higher. DNS resolution of Veeam Backup & Replication server, Veeam Backup for Red Hat Virtualization server, Red Hat Virtualization manager (oVirt), and all RHEV hosts.
