Workspace ONE is in the process of migrating customer information from legacy systems to those of VMware. Regardless of your role in the My Workspace ONE portal, your authentication will now reside in VMware’s business systems via Customer Connect Portal.
Before accessing the My Workspace ONE portal to perform tasks such as reviewing documentation or logging a Support request, you will need to access Customer Connect (formerly known as My VMware portal) to reset your user password and to enable single sign-on (SSO) authentication when using My Workspace ONE. Additionally, if you have been designated an account Super User or Procurement Contact (manager of user profiles for an account) you will now use the Customer Connect process for adding, removing, or changing capabilities of other users on your My Workspace ONE account. Please refer to this resource for details on this procedure: Managing Approved Support Contacts in the My Workspace ONE portal: Migrated Workflow.
Process to Log In to the My Workspace ONE portal for Customers and Partners: Navigate to the My Workspace ONE portal at my.workspaceone.com and select the Log In button in the upper right corner. You will see two options for logging in. Customers and Partners without Partner Connect (formerly Partner Central) credentials should select Customer Connect. Partners with Partner Connect credentials should select Partner Connect. Note: My VMware portal is the former name of the Customer Connect portal. Confirm or create your Customer Connect profile. If you have an existing Customer Connect profile, use those credentials to log in. Active users on Workspace ONE support contracts, but new to VMware’s support systems, have had Customer Connect profiles and Customer Numbers created in advance. Users should have received a confirmation email with their Customer Number.Users with previously existing VMware support contracts and profiles will have had VMware AirWatch or Workspace ONE added to their entitlements. If you are new to Customer Connect and do not have an existing account, navigate to Customer Connect and register following the instructions listed in this resource: How to create a Customer Connect profile. Once you register and/or authenticate, you will be redirected back to the My Workspace ONE portal and can browse normally.
