Symptoms
When trying to enroll new devices into Workspace ONE using Knox enrollment, the administrator receives error : "Samsung KLM license activation has failed either due to invalid product license or a faulty network connection."
Cause
This error occurs when there is an issue with the Knox license applying and validating on new device.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, troubleshoot the following steps in the same order:
Ensure the Knox License key is not expired.Ensure the number of Knox licenses does not exceed the number of licenses assigned. Generally, Samsung gives a leverage of 10% additional licenses.Check if the device is reachable to Samsung License server. To validate, refer the Supported Samsung Devices Matrix section (Page 88) of the VMware AirWatch Android Platform Guide.As this error may suggest a network issue, try enrolling a device with open Wi-fi or cellular network.Check if the devices are Knox compatible.
