Purpose
Solve issues associated with the, "Email Notification Services (ENS) Error: 401 Unauthorized."
Cause
ENS is not functioning properly. The following error is received:
"AW.Mail.Notification.BusinessImpl.NotificationForwarder._PostNotificationBatch Call to Notification Cloud failed System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized."
Resolution
Note: This solution is only valid for ENS v1.
This error occurs because CNS is not able to authorize ENS and is throwing a 401 error. This is likely due to a certificate issue. In order to resolve this error, download a fresh ENS installer from the Workspace ONE UEM Console and reinstall it on the ENS Server.
