PowerFlex 3.6.0.4 and Cloud Link Center (CLC) 7.1.3 Then the device /dev/sdg1 encrypted using Cloud link 7.1.3 and added the mapper device to the SDS node. However, the device type is shown as RAW.
In Cloud link 7.1.3, securevm agent on SDS node recognizes the devices by using disk ID WWN (dev/disk/by-id/wwn-0x5xxxxxxxxxxxxx) "When replacing a faulty disk with a higher capacity one, we must partition the new disk to match the existing size. This adds the device as '-part1' (for example, /dev/disk/by-id/wwn-0x5xxxxxxxxxxxxx-part1). Due to the length and truncation, the Cloud link 7.1.3 GUI displays the device type as 'RAW' even though it is encrypted update the SDS device mapper. This is a cosmetic issue and does not affect functionality.
Upgrade Cloud link to 7.1.5 or above and update the agent on SDS to correct the device id as you see in the below screen.
