Symptom

Large number of drops observed on "High rate app" queue with WDAVC/Et-analytics on same port on an edge node in SDA fabric. show platform hardware fed switch active qos queue stats internal cpu policer | i High 23 18 High Rate App Yes 13000 13000 1406466 11708 <<<< Drops With high rate of multicast traffic received on ports with WDAVC/Et-analytics, duplicate radius access request may be observed on ISE live logs from the edge node, which may impact dot1x client authentication.

Conditions

Issue observed post upgrade of Edge node from 17.6.5 to 17.9.2 or 17.9.3 release. WDAVC/ET-Analytics configuration on same port. Multicast traffic received on port with WDAVC/ET-Analytics configuration.

Workaround

Remove WDAVC/ET-Analytics configuration from ports receiving high rate of multicast traffic. no ip flow monitor dnacmonitor input no ip flow monitor dnacmonitor output no ipv6 flow monitor dnacmonitor_v6 input no ipv6 flow monitor dnacmonitor_v6 output no et-analytics enable
