On a ProLiant m510 server cartridge installed in an HPE Edgeline EL4000 Converged Edge System, a Non-Maskable Interrupt (NMI) may occur if cartridge Slot 2 is powered on prior to powering on cartridge Slot 1. This only affects the cartridge in Slot 2.
When this occurs, the following is displayed in the iLO Chassis Manager:
Scope
Any HPE ProLiant m510 server cartridge configured in Slot 2 of any HPE EL4000 PXIe System (847536-B21) when Slot 2 is powered on before Slot 1.
Resolution
CPLD Version 08 corrects this issue. To prevent this issue, power on the cartridge in Slot 1 first via the iLO GUI, before powering on the cartridge in Slot 2.
The CPLD is available in the following components:
HPE Edgeline EL4000 PXIe Chassis Programmable Logic Device for Windows - cp032315.exe
HPE Edgeline EL4000 PXIe Chassis Programmable Logic Device for Linux - CP033097.scexe
The components are available in the Edgeline Component Pack (ECP) Version 2017.08.0.
The ECP is available at the following URL:
https://h20566.www2.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?swItemId=MTX_8d97fdb4bffc45d59ed50cac20
If this issue has already occurred, reboot the cartridge in Slot 2.
