Info
HPE InfoSight for Servers may not display manually uploaded Active Health System (AHS) logs after a successful upload in the InfoSight portal.
This issue occurs in the following scenarios:
When signed into the Infosight for Servers web portal, the user uploads an AHS log, via the Analyze Logs menu under Servers, to preview Infosight for Servers capabilities and attempt to troubleshoot an AHS log without any organization first created.
When signed into the Infosight for Servers web portal, the user bypasses the "HPE Server Registration" steps detailed on the "InfoSight welcome page," which mandates the user to create an Organization before uploading an AHS Log.
Scope
HPE InfoSight for Servers.
Resolution
To resolve the issue, perform the following steps from the InfoSight Portal -
HPE InfoSight
:
If you do not have an organization in HPE InfoSight:
Create an organization. To access the "Create Organization" page, click the "HPE Server Registration" link on the HPE InfoSight Welcome page.
The "Create Organization" can also be accessed by clicking the "InfoSight Administration" menu item, and then, clicking My Organization.
After an organization is created, the system will redirect to the Device Enrollment page.
Click the Analyze Log link on the right side of the Device Enrollment page instead of registering a device. The Analyze Logs page is displayed.
Click "Upload Log" in the upper right corner of the Analyze Logs page.
If there are two or more pre-existing HPE InfoSight organizations:
Verify you are in the correct organization. The current HPE InfoSight organization is displayed in the upper right corner of the page.
Click Servers > Analyze Logs.
The Analyze Logs page is displayed.
Click Upload Log in the upper right corner of the Analyze Logs page.
This issue will be addressed in a future Infosight release - the "Analyze Logs" menu option will not be enabled until an organization has been created.
