iLO Amplifier Pack provides the Baseline Compliance feature to check if the components installed on the server are compliant with the selected Gen10 Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP). The individual components compliance status is displayed in the iLO Amplifier GUI and in the report.
In certain scenarios, the report displays the compliance status as "Update Required" even when the component is already up to date. The scenarios that result in this issue are:
When HPE Agentless Management Service (AMS) is not installed or running in the system
When the components Installed Version is not available in HPE Integrated Lights-Out 5 (iLO 5)
When the component is installed incorrectly in the wrong path and hence AMS is not reporting the Installed version
In the above cases, where the Installed version is not available, iLO Amplifier Pack does not detect the current installed version of the component and compares the component version in the SPP, therefore recommends to upgrading because it does not match.
This occurs because HPE AMS driver and the below smart components installation path used.

Scope
Any HPE system running iLO Amplifier Pack.
Resolution
When running iLO Amplifier Pack, perform the following:
Ensure AMS is installed and running in the system
Install the components in the correct Path as recommended by AMS
This is targeted to be resolved in a future version of the HPE AMS. This advisory will be updated when additional information is available.
