On Superdome Flex 280 servers running firmware version 1.20.x and using OneView version 6.30 or earlier, the create and reapply operations will fail when managing BIOS settings using the OneView server profile.
Scope
The issue occurs under both of the following circumstances:
On HPE Superdome Flex 280 servers running firmware version 1.20.x
When managing BIOS settings using the server profile feature in OneView 6.30 or earlier versions.
Resolution
On systems running OneView 6.30 or earlier that upgrade the firmware to HPE Superdome Flex 280 firmware version 1.20.x, follow the below instructions:
Do not use the OneView server profile feature to manage BIOS settings. Alternatively, use the RMC web interface or CLI to manage BIOS settings.
Upgrade to OneView V6.40 as OneView 6.40 and later will support OneView server profile feature to manage BIOS settings.
