This firmware version is available for HPE StoreEver LTO-9 Ultrium 45000 SAS standalone tape drives and HPE StoreEver LTO-9 Ultrium 45000 SAS and FC tape drives in HPE StoreEver 1/8 G2 Tape Autoloaders and HPE StoreEver MSL2024, MSL3040, and MSL6480 Tape Libraries.
This release is a
recommended
firmware update.
IMPORTANT
: If not already at firmware PA61, then this update is
Critical.
Performing this update is required to optimize the LTO-9 media initialization process.
