Network Configuration Utility (NCU) support for HP ProLiant Gen8 Servers is End-of-Life (EOL) and no longer exists for HP ProLiant Gen9 Servers. NCU EOL means that for HP ProLiant Gen8 Servers only limited maintenance releases will be provided. Maintenance is defined as: the repair of software defects and errors commonly known as bugs. Support is limited and no NCU enhancements (i.e., any product change or upgrade that increases software capabilities beyond the original specifications) will be considered as part of this EOL. On HPE ProLiant Gen9 Servers, HP Network Configuration Utility (NCU) does not support Ethernet / FlexFabric and StoreFabric Adapters designed for HPE ProLiant Gen9 Servers, including the following adapters: Affected HP Broadcom Network Adapters: HP Ethernet 1Gb 2-port 330i Adapter HP Emulex Network Adapters: HP FlexFabric 10Gb 2-port 556FLR-SFP+ Adapter NOTE: HP NCU (cp026060.exe) supports HP Ethernet 1Gb 4-port 331i Adapters and HP FlexFabric 10G 2-port 536FLB Adapters and is available on this FTP site .
